NBA Daily Show: April 2 – The Starters

J.E.: GOOD EVENING AND WELCOME TO “THE STARTERS,” WHETHER YOU’RE CATCHING US ON AND BE TV OUR ONLINE. WE’RE HAPPY TO HAVE YOU. THAT IS TAS MELAS. TO MY RIGHT, TREY KERBY. FINALLY THE INTERNATIONAL MAN OF MYSTERY, LEIGH ELLIS. A FUN SHOW THIS EVENING. IT IS NICE TO BE BACK IN 2015. IF YOU DO NOT CATCH YESTERDAY SHOW, IT WAS THE APRIL FOOLS’ DAY SHOW. WE TOOK A BACK TO APRIL 1, 1995. HAD A BLAST. IT IS ON HER FACEBOOK PAGE. YOU CAN SEE THE LINK AND IT IS ON THE NBA YOUTUBE CHANNEL. CHECK THAT OUT. THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN. TAS: THE PLAYERS PLAYED HARDER BACK THEN. J.E.: WE HAD A CRAZY NIGHT. 12 GAMES. SOME CRAZY NUMBERS. ONCE AGAIN, A FEW LESSONS LEARNED AND I THINK THE FIRST ONE, RUSSELL WESTBROOK AS THE GUY DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN WINS FOR THE THUNDER. TAS: HE TRIES TO DO TOO MUCH. I THINK WESTBROOK WOULD AGREE. BUT DOES NOT BENEFIT HIS TEAM ON EITHER END. HE CAN’T DO IT ALL AND HAVE HIS TEAM COME OUT VICTORIOUS. SHOOTING 30 TIMES, NINE TIMES, HIS TEAM IS 2-7. THAT BOGUS ARGUMENT ABOUT NOT HAVING A CHOICE. I DO NOT BUY THAT FOR ONE SECOND. J.E.: REALLY? TREY: WHAT ALTERNATIVES ARE THERE? JAMES THEY ARE 2-7. THEY HAVE GIVEN UP 108, IT IS THE DEFENSE. WESTBROOK SHOOTS A LOT. I DON’T MIND. TAS: THEY DON’T GET INVOLVED ON THE DEFENSIVE END. THAT JUST MEANS YOU’RE GUYS ARE NOT FLOWING ON OFFENSE. THEY DON’T GET THEIR ENERGY GOING ON THE DEFENSIVE END. I THINK THAT IS THE CASE. HE TAKES A LOT MORE OF HIS TEAM’S THREE-POINT ATTEMPTS AND THEIR FIELD GOALS. AND THE DEFENSIVE RATING IN LOSSES, OBVIOUSLY THAT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO SHOTS. IT IS WORSE WHEN RUSS IS SHOOTING A LOT. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS. WHO KNOWS IF THAT MEANS IS OFFENSE IS CORRESPONDING. I THINK HE AGREES WITH ME BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN A THEME THIS SEASON. HE SAID HE HAS TO DO A BETTER JOB OF SHOOTING. I THINK I WAS SHOOTING. I HAVE TO TRUST MY TEAMMATES MORE. CONSISTENTLY TRUSTING THEM REGARDLESS OF WHAT IS GOING ON, SCORE AND POSSESSION. FIND A WAY TO TRUST THEM AND LET THEM MAKE SOME PLAYS. I THINK WILL PAY OFF ON THE DEFENSIVE END. TO SAY THEY HAVE SCORED OVER 130 POINTS. THE MAVERICKS ALLOWED THAT TO EVERYBODY. THE CAVS, CLIPPERS, THE THUNDER. 2-7 WHEN HE SHOOTS A LOT. TREY: TWO TEAMMATES HAD 30 OR MORE. 32 MATES — THREE TEAMMATES WERE NOT GOING. THEY DID NOT STOP ANYBODY. HE KIND OF GAMBLES A BUNCH. TAS: HE IS EXHAUSTED. HE CAN’T BE THE FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE BECAUSE HE IS TRYING TO DO SO MUCH. 29% SHOOTER. TREY: WHAT ELSE ARE THEY GOING TO DO? WHO IS GOING TO SCORE FOR THEM? TAS: THE OTHER 11 GUYS ON THE ROSTER. DALLAS’ DEFENSE STINKS. LEIGH: OKLAHOMA AS WELL. THAT IS EVERYONE’S PROBLEM. 72 POINTS IN THE PAINT. THAT IS WHERE THE PROBLEM IS. IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW GOOD YOU ARE ON OFFENSE. IF THE OTHER TEAM WALKS IN AND SCORES. TAS: RUSS NOT WORKING ON THE OFFENSIVE END WILL HELP HIM ON DEFENSE. AND GUYS GETTING THEIR LEGS IN THE OFFENSE, PLAYING MORE. THAT’LL GET THEM MOTIVATED. NBA PLAYERS TALK ABOUT ALL THE TIME. THEY WILL DO MORE ON THE DEFENSIVE END. J.E.: IT IS TOUGH TO ASK WESTBROOK TO DO EVERYTHING, BUT NOT TOO MUCH. HE HAS TO FIND A BALANCE. WE SAID WHEN SERGE IBAKA WENT DOWN, THE THUNDER’S BEST CHANCES TO TRY TO OUTSCORE TEAMS. KANTER HAD A GREAT OFFENSIVE GAME. HE IS A JOKE DEFENSIVELY. HE DOES NOT ROTATE. THEY HAVE NO ONE TO PROTECT THE RIM. WE KNEW THAT WHEN IBAKA WENT OUT. THEY HAVE TO TRY LIKE THE ROCKETS DO WITH JAMES HARDEN, SOMETIMES THEY JUST TRY TO OUTSCORE YOU. HIT MORE THREES. TAS: WESTBROOK WANTS TO SHOOT LESS. I REALLY DO THINK THAT. THE OTHER M.V.P. CANDIDATES HAVE NOT SHOT AS MUCH AS RUSS. HE HAS SHOT NINE TIMES MORE 30 PLUS SHOTS. NO OTHER M.V.P. CANDIDATE HAS DONE THAT TWICE. WESTBROOK IS GOING TO PLAY THE FEWEST AMOUNT OF GAMES OF ALL OF THESE GUYS BECAUSE HE IS INJURED. LEIGH: WHAT HE COULD DO IS DRIVE INSIDE. HE IS A GOOD FINISHER AROUND THE RIM. LAST NIGHT IN PARTICULAR, HIS LAKES STARTED TO LEAVE HIM. J.E.: IS THAT ANY SURPRISE? HE HAS CARRIED HIS TEAM OFFENSIVELY. HIS USAGE RATE IS THROUGH THE ROOF. TREY: THERE IS GOING TO BE TIMES WHEN HE SHOOTS A 10. THEY HAVE TO STEP UP DEFENSIVELY. IT HAPPENS. IT WOULD HELP IF THEY ARE INVOLVED OFFENSIVELY. THEY’VE GOT TO GET STOPS. WESTBROOK HAS TO DO EVERYTHING, AND HE IS. J.E.: THEY WERE THE POSSIBILITIES OF CHASING THE MA VS. THAT WAS A BIG WIN. ANOTHER LESSON LEARNED. JAMES HARDEN REFUSES TO HAND OVER THE M.V.P. AWARD TO STEPH CURRY. WE SAW ON TUESDAY STEPH CURRY HAD ONE OF HIS MOMENTS AGAINST THE CLIPPERS. HE DROPPED CHRIS PAUL. WE WILL SHOW YOU THAT LATER. WEDNESDAY NIGHT, IT WAS JAMES HARDEN. 51. A COUPLE OF GREAT GAMES THIS SEASON. 51. 8-9 FROM THREE. A VERY EFFICIENT 25 SHOTS TO GET TO 51 POINTS. IT IS BONKERS. DID IT IN THE FIRST QUARTER AND OF COURSE INTO THE FOURTH. 10 IN A CLOSE GAME. I REMEMBER WHEN WE SAID THIS WILL BE A GREAT M.V.P. RACE, BECAUSE ONE NIGHT IT WILL BE CURRY TAKING THE LEAD. THEN HARDEN. AS MUCH AS WE LOVE WESTBROOK AND LEBRON, DOES IT FEEL LIKE A TWO-MAN RACE? LEIGH: IT DOES TO ME. JAMES HARDEN, YOU LOOK AT STEPH CURRY AND THE CLIPPERS AND YOU THINK HE IS THE BEST PLAYER BUT JAMES HARDEN LAST NIGHT AGAINST THE KINGS, NOT THE GREATEST TEAM, BUT HE WILLED HIS TEAM AND THAT IS WITHIN M.V.P. DOES. 59 POINTS. 8-9 FROM DOWNTOWN. HE IS DOING EVERYTHING. HIS DEFENSE HAS PICKED UP IN THE ROCKETS, I WAS NOT A BELIEVER. AS THE SEASON IS GETTING ON, ESPECIALLY WITH DWIGHT, I BELIEVE THEY COULD BE A THREAT TO MAKE THE WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL. THE WAY JAMES HARDEN IS PLAYING. HE NEVER GIVES UP AND IT NEVER STOPS BELIEVING. THAT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE ROCKETS. TAS: WILL HE DO IT IN THE PLAYOFFS? CONTINUE TO GET IN THE LANE AND NOT SETTLE FOR THREES? CAN HE WIN A PLAYOFF SERIES? OTHERWISE THE SEASON IS A FAILURE. EVEN IF HE IS SECOND IN VOTING AND HAD AN INCREDIBLE YEAR. HE HAS NEVER WON A SERIES IS A NUMBER ONE PLAYOFF GUY. THAT IS HIS GOAL. HE LOOKS INCREDIBLE. HE LOOKS LIKE HE IS AN INCREDIBLE SHAPE AND I DON’T THINK HE IS GOING TO SETTLE FOR THREES AND HANG OUT ON THE PERIMETER. IT IS GOING TO BE INCREDIBLE TO WATCH. HE’S GOT SUCH A GREAT SUPPORTING CAST. DWIGHT COMING BACK. THE TEAM FITS IN SO WELL. GO SCORE. LET THE OTHER GUYS DO THE DIRTY WORK. AS LONG AS JASON TERRY CAN HIT SOME THREES, HE CAN SAM THE FLOOR. — HE CAN STAY ON THE FLOOR. HE HAS TO CARRY THE BALL. JAMES HARDEN CAN DO EVERYTHING. J.E.: IT IS GOING TO BE AN UNREAL M.V.P. RACE. THE FINAL ONE, THE FINAL LESSON LEARNED, EVERYBODY SEEMS TO HATE FOR THE CLIPPERS. WE HAVE SEEN THEM GET INTO IT WITH THE WARRIORS. LAST NIGHT IT WAS THE BLAZERS. IT REALLY STARTED BECAUSE CHRIS PAUL, TELL IT AS IT IS, HE GOES BENEATH THE BELT. IT WAS THE HIBBERT HONK, AS SOME PEOPLE ARE CALLING IT. HE RETALIATED BY PUSHING HIM. I THINK CHRIS PAUL EMBELLISHES. NOW GUYS ARE FLOPPING IN THE SKIRMISH. AND LATER ON, IT CONTINUED. A LOT OF PUSHING AND SHOVING. WE SAW IT WITH MATT BARNES AND DAMIAN LILLARD. IT IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF WHY A LOT OF TEAMS HATE THE CLIPPERS. TREY: THEY ARE LEADING A TECHNICALS. MAYBE THEY ARE TOO EMOTIONAL. THE BLAZERS ARE A CHILL TEAM. I DON’T KNOW. IT IS STRANGE THE CLIPPERS ARE GETTING IN FIGHTS. YOU HAVE TO WONDER IF THE IS GOING TO GET A FINE. CAN YOU GET IN TROUBLE FOR FLOPPING DURING A SKIRMISH? LEIGH: HE IS TRYING TO GET LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE. IT SHOULD COUNT. HE IS EMBELLISHING WHAT HE DID. LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE COULD RUN AS FAST AS HE WANT, AND HE WOULD NOT GO DOWN. HE WOULDN’T. J.E.: HE LIKES TO HIT OF FLOOR. WHEN WE COME BACK, WE WILL OPEN UP THE MAILBOX. WE WILL ANSWER A FEW OF YOUR QUESTIONS. DID SOMEONE TAKE DOWN AND
SHATTER THE GLASS TODAY? HAVE YOU BEEN FOULED BY
YOUR WIRELESS CARRIER? J.E.: WE HAVE MAIL BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE GREAT AT SENDING THEM IN. KEEP THEM COMING. ANY AND ALL NBA QUESTIONS. THE FIRST ONE FROM JAMES FROM AUSTRALIA. DO YOU KNOW HIM? LEIGH: I DO. J.E.: THING HOW MOST M.V.P. CANDIDATES ARE FEATURED ON ALL TEAMS, DO YOU THINK IT IS ONLY RIGHT TO SHOW SOME LOVE TO CANDIDATES THAT MISS OUT ON AWARDS AND OTHER CATEGORIES? FOR EXAMPLE, THE MOST IMPROVED PLAYER RACE IS CLOSE. WHY NOT MAKE UP AND ALL M.I.P. TEAM? WE THOUGHT IT OVER. IF YOU WERE TO PUT TOGETHER A MOST IMPROVED TEAM. HERE IS A COUPLE OF GUYS THAT WOULD PROBABLY BE ON MOST WITH — BE ON MOST LISTS. DRAYMOND GREEN, MOTIEJUNAS, RUDY GOBERT. SCHRODER, YOU WERE ADAMANT HE MAKES THE TEAM. LEIGH: HE HAS BEEN GREAT. MIKE BUDENHOLZER DID NOT HAVE CONFIDENCE, BUT THIS YEAR HE HAS IMPROVED. HIS MINUTES HAVE INCREASED. THAT IS BECAUSE MIKE BUDENHOLZER FEELS COMFORTABLE THROWING HIM OUT THERE. NEARLY 10 POINTS PER GAME. GETTING MORE ASSISTS AND A FEW REBOUNDS. THAT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY OF PLAYING MORE MINUTES. FURTHERMORE, IN THE NINE GAMES HE HAS STARTED, THE HAWKS ARE 8-1. HE HAS 14 POINTS AND EIGHT ASSISTS AND SOME OF THOSE WINS HAVE COME ACROSS PLAYOFF TEAMS. HE HAS REALLY SHOWN UP. SOMETIMES WHEN YOU HAVE A PLAYER PLAYING AS WELL AS JEFF TEAGUE, THE TEAM DROPS OFF. BUT SCHRODER CAN KEEP THE TEAM HUMMING. I THINK HE WILL BECOME A VALUABLE POINT GUARD FOR A STARTING TEAM. J.E.: YOU WOULD THINK SO. LET’S DO AN ALL SIX MAN TEAM. WE WERE IN THE OFFICE, SOME POTENTIAL NAMES, YOUR TWO GUARDS, LOU WILLIAMS, JAMAL CRAWFORD. WHERE IS ISAIAH THOMAS? MIROTIC, JOSH SMITH, THAT MIGHT SURPRISE SOME PEOPLE. HE HAD AN UP-AND-DOWN YEAR. SPEIGHTS, THE EFFICIENCY HE’S HAD AS A BACKUP BIG FOR THE WARRIORS. JOSH SMITH. ANYONE WANT TO SELL PEOPLE ON JOSH SMITH? LEIGH: HE MIGHT HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT ROLE FOR HIM. IN DETROIT HE WAS NOT EFFECTIVE AS A STARTER. NOW THE RAW NUMBERS DON’T CHANGE A LOT, BUT THE PERCENTAGES INCREASE AND I THINK PART OF THAT IS BECAUSE HE IS PLAYING AGAINST SECOND UNITS. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHERE YOU PLAY, I THINK HOUSTON, WHEN HE FIRST GAME HE WAS ROCKY. NOW HE HAS GIVEN THEM AN IMPORTANT MINUTES. HE IS DESERVING OF THAT PLACE. J.E.: ISAIAH THOMAS A TOUGH NAME TO LEAVE OFF THE LIST. HE WILL BE IN THE RUNNING WHEN WE HAND OUT OUR OWN END OF THE YEAR AWARD SHOW. IT IS MONDAY, 6:30 P.M. ON THE NETWORK AND OF COURSE ISAIAH THOMAS WILL BE IN THE RUNNING FOR THAT SIX MAN AWARD. DO YOU LIKE THE IDEA OF THESE TEAMS? LEIGH: IF YOU ARE A PLAYER, YOU WOULD LOVE THIS IDEA. J.E.: IT IS LIKE A PARTICIPATION RIBBON. MONDAY, 630 P.M., KRISTEN LEDLOW HOSTING. A LOT OF FUN. DO YOU THINK WE WILL EVER SEE A SHATTERED BACKBOARD AGAIN? THEY MUST BE MORE DURABLE. WITH HOW HARD SOME GUYS DUNK, IS IT POSSIBLE? WHICH CURRENT PLAYER HAS THE BEST CHANCE OF BREAKING ONE WITH A DUNK? THAT QUESTION FROM KEVIN. TREY: HE IS RIGHT. THIS SORT OF THING USED TO HAPPEN OFTEN. IF YOU WOULD TRY TO DUNK CARD FROM THE 1980’S, THIS IS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. IT WOULD SEND GLASS EVERYWHERE. IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD WITH THE PAIN OF GLASS FALLING ALL OVER TALL GUYS. NOT TO MENTION THE FALL FROM THE RIM GIVING OUT. RIM TECHNOLOGY IS DIFFERENT THESE DAYS. YOU NEVER SEE THINGS TORN DOWN. MAY BE A BENT RIM. WE WILL SEE. J.E.: I REMEMBER IN 2012, IVAN JOHNSON WAS PRACTICING IN INDIANA. IT WAS A COLLEGE BACKBOARD. I DON’T KNOW IF THEY ARE THAT MUCH DIFFERENT. THIS IS FROM THE HAWKS. HE SHATTERED IT IN PRACTICE. LEIGH: IT IS NOT ABOUT HOW BIG YOU ARE. IT IS ABOUT GETTING IT IN THE RIGHT SPOT. J.E.: WHO WOULD BE IN THE RUNNING? DEANDRE JORDAN? ANDRE DRUMMOND. LEIGH: SERGE IBAKA. J.E.: SIM BHULLAR ART. LEIGH: HE CAN JUST DROP IT IN. J.E.: I WOULD NEVER ACCOUNT OUT RUSSELL CYBORG — RUSSELL WESTBROOK. HE IS A CYBORG. J.E.: EVERY THURSDAY WE BRING YOU OUR FAVORITE WEIRD MOMENT FROM THE LEAGUE. TREY: HE STARTS WITH A BIG SHOT. A FANTASTIC GAME FOR HIM. DAHNTAY JONES WANTS TO CELEBRATE. HE GIVES CHRIS PAUL A BLOODY LIP. HE BUMPS EVERYBODY, INCLUDING HIS TEAMMATES. J.E.: CHRIS’S REACTION. NUMBER FOUR. THIS TRAIL BLAZER WITH THE VERY AWED AND CREEPY SWEATER. TOTALLY CREEPY. TAS: THE BEARD NEEDS TO BE LONGER. J.E.: I LIKE HOW SHE IS EMBARRASSED. DON’T LOOK AT ME. TAS: THIS IS KELLY OLYNYK ARRIVING AND THIS IS HIM ARRIVING PRIOR TO THE GAME. HE COLLIDED WITH HIS TEAMMATE AND THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED. HE PLAYED WELL. 19 POINTS. NO BIG DEAL. THEN THE INTERNET DID ITS WORK. MOUTHS REPLACING EYES. J.E.: CHALMERS, JUST GOING TO CHUCK IT UP. HITS THE BUZZER BEATER TO THE CHAGRIN OF GREGG POPOVICH. LEIGH: THE REACTION SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT BEHIND HIM. J.E.: SOMEONE SHOULD MAKE THIS AN EMOJI. TAS: STEPH CURRY DROPPING CHRIS PAUL ON TUESDAY WITHOUT MASTERFUL MOVE. EVERYBODY LOVING IT. I WISH HE WALKED IN AND THROUGH DOWN THE DUNK. TREY: EVEN THE HOME FANS ARE GOING CRAZY. TAS: IT WAS VERY FUN TO WATCH. ONE MAN WATCHING WAS DRAKE. THAT WAS HIS REACTION. AND THEN THE PHOTOSHOP STARTED. LANCE STEPHENSON BLOWING HIM OVER. AND THEN HE TAKES TO BREAK DANCING. HE IS PLAYING TWISTER. FEELING IT. LEIGH: HE WAS GOOD ABOUT IT. TAS: WE ALSO HAD A WEDGIE. IT HAS BEEN A WHILE. HAD TO CHUCK IT UP. IT HAD BEEN A LONG TIME. WE ARE AT 38 TOTAL FOR THE SEASON AND WE WILL BE GIVING AWAY THE WEDGIE OF THE YEAR ON MONDAY. WE’VE GOT SOME GOOD ONES. J.E.: WE WENT NEARLY THREE WEEKS WITHOUT ONE. UNLEASH THE UNICORN IN TODAY’S FANTASY MINUTE. FANTASY LINES OF THE NIGHT. THERE WERE A MILLION TO PICK FROM. JAMES HARDEN, CHRIS PAUL, JAMES HARDEN WITH THE SECOND RUNNER UP. 51 POINTS. 16-25 FROM THE FLOOR. EIGHT THREES. SIX ASSISTS. YOU KNOW I LOVE THE DEFENSE. DEMARCUS COUSINS IN THE SAME GAME AGAINST THE ROCKETS. 24 POINTS. HE DID NOT SHOOT AS WELL. 2-6 FROM THE LINE. 21 REBOUNDS. 10 ASSISTS. THREE STEALS, SIX BLOCKS. THAT IS NUMBER TWO. WE ARE GIVING IT TO CHRIS PAUL. 41 POINTS ON 13 OF 21 SHOOTING. PERFECT AT THE LINE. 1010. FIVE THREES, 17 ASSISTS, ONE TURNOVER. THAT IS A PRETTY GOOD GAME. TONS TO PICK FROM. ONE MORE BREAK. WE WILL SET UP A NEW PICK AND PAY OFF. A TWIST FOR THE MONTH AND LEIGH: ‘S VERY SOLID PLAY. J.E.: LOST A LITTLE BIT IN THE J.E.: LOST A LITTLE BIT IN THE MEND US OF OUR APRIL FOOLS’ DAY SHOW WAS THE FACT I ONE FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE MONTH IN THE TAKE AND PAY OFF. I’M A DYNASTY. WHICH MEANS TAS WILL DELIVER HIS PAYOFF AND WE ARE GOING TO DO IT FRIDAY. IT WILL BE EASTER THEMED. 6:30 P.M. EASTERN ON NBA TV. TAS AND I ARE DONE. ONCE AGAIN WE ARE GOING TO PUT TREY VERSUS LEIGH, YOU AGREE ON TWO GAMES. TREY HAS THE ROCKETS. WE DID IT LAST YEAR. A PIE TO THE FACE IS ON THE LINE. LEIGH: MY GOD, THAT WAS DISGUSTING. J.E.: MISSES DOWN FIRE IS ON THE LINE. — MRS. DOUBTFIRE IS ON THE LINE. WE DO HAVE A SIGNED. LEIGH: IT COMES FROM JOHN IN BOSTON. HE’S GOT THE WEDGIE, CROSSFIRE, GOOD JOB. HE DID SEND US A PHOTO OF HIM AT THE GAME. IT COUNTS. WE ARE GOING TO ORLANDO. IT IS A BOOMERANG PLAY. WATCH MANU HERE. NO ONE FROM THE MAGIC IS. A BEAUTIFUL SLICE INSIDE. IN THE CORNER. BANG. YES, I GOT CAUGHT YESTERDAY WITH THE APRIL FOOLS’ DAY PRANK. VERY SOLID PLAY. J.E.: HOW DARE YOU. THERE IT IS. VERY SOLID PLAY. HOPEFULLY A SOLID SHOW. BACK TOMORROW WITH THE TELEVISION SHOW AND TOMORROW THE HOUR-LONG PODCAST WHICH WILL BE ON ITUNES AND THE BLOCK. TAS: REMEMBER, YOUR NORMAL IS FAR MORE INSULTING THAN YOU ARE WEIRD. J.E.: EMBRACE THE NIGHTS, PEOPLE.

  1. I remember sports science discussed the breaking rim thing and found that because of the new design, you can't break the rim any more. And the glass is now separate from the rim so you can't break the glass either. They even threw a piano on it.

  2. All 6th man team is a joke, Isaiah has the best numbers as a 6th man and they put Lou Williams on there? Dudes averaging 15 and 1, Isaiah's averaging 16 and 5.

  3. westbrook good player but when u get triple doubles but u lose then its kinda stat-hunter only.. i mean he even said he was so desperate to get triple doubles that he didnt pay attention to winning the game only, moaning bout his team m8s to get a rebound and assists lol.. everything beside, he is a beast of a player tho

  4. I would defend westbrook bcuz i love okc but your right he shoots too much and thats a step closer to not winning mvp

  5. If you transported a prime Nash and swapped him for Westrbrook OKC would be contenders right now … thats the skill of making other better

  6. the thunder are not gonna make the playoffs the way their defense has been as of late, maybe you can blame it for westbrooks gamebles which i don't believe its a result of the team struggling. But the thunder don't have the shot blocker in ibaka now that his gone, so enes kanter whose a terrific post scorer, his defense is a libalbity. Honesty the pelicons have to win games NOW, to win the 8th seed

  7. I honestly think Curry should win, because not only is he averaging 23-24 points, hes averaging 8 assists, AND 2 steals a game!
